Fees
Many people are nervous about engaging the services of a solicitor, or even making that first phone call as they perceive legal advice as costly. At Gerard Gooden Solicitors we understand your concerns. All of our clients are completely informed about legal costs and our legal team will ensure these costs are kept to a minimum.
At the beginning of most matters we will provide you with a written costs agreement which estimates the cost of your matter. For some matters we can provide a flat fee estimate.
Flat Fees Matters
- Conveyancing - Sale or purchase of land
- Sale or purchase of business
- Refinance
- Commercial Leases
- Wills, Power of Attorney and Guardianship Documents
- Court pleas
Variable Fees
If your matter is not listed above it may be a matter where costs can vary depending on the action required. We will advise you on the legal options you have and what costs would be involved. If there is an unexpected blow out in fees we will advise you of this as soon as is possible. You can then make an informed decision as to whether it is financially viable to pursue your legal matter or not.
We send our clients an invoice at the end of each month or at other mutually agreed times to keep them informed of the costs of their matter.
As a client focused firm we are efficient and cost-effective in delivering quality legal services. G.J. Gooden Solicitor and Notary Public is committed to keeping your legal fees to a minimum without compromising the service you receive or the result you obtain.
If you need pro bono assistance for a legal matter that is in the public interest and have no other means of legal assistance available, please feel free to contact G.J. Gooden Solicitor.
